In case you haven't noticed, we are in an economic crisis in this country, and around the whole world. The trillions of dollars that our government poured into failing companies was supposed to stimulate our economy. It almost looks like it has had the opposite effect.
Unemployment continues to hold around the ten percent mark. Banks continue to hold onto their..., or should I say...our money.
Businesses continue to struggle. No one is hiring, foreclosures continue, and for anyone who is still holding onto the notion that we are not in a recession...you may be right. I think what we are experiencing, although not in the same way, is a very depressed economy. Not just in the US, but all over the world. That's the scary part.
Some countries are doing better than others. China's economy is slowing, but nothing to the tune of the rest of the world. As a mater of fact, you could say that they are doing very well. They are pretty much keeping us afloat, with all the money that they have loaned to us.
Not to many presidents have come into office with all the problems that President Obama has had. Our economy in a tail spin, the bailout money was basically dumped into his lap. We can't really blame all this stuff on him, but also there have not been to many presidents that have come into office with control of both the House and the Senate. Not many presidents have come into office with the tidal wave a popularity that President Obama had either. The vehicle was running, all he had to do was get in and start driving.
Almost two years have gone by, and like the old Janet Jackson song, "What Have You Done For Me Lately", everyone is saying the same thing. Outside of having a health care system, that the majority of Americans didn't want, shoved down our throats, President Obama has squandered a golden opportunity to get his policies into gear. Now the party may be nearing an end and he doesn't have much to show for it.
There is a bailout package and a stimulus plan that is coming, that is not controlled by the House or the Senate or even the president. It's called the November elections. Yes, this is a package that will not be coming up for a vote by Congress or the Senate, but by you and me. We will control this vote and we will make the crucial and decisive vote on weather we like what our leaders on Capitol Hill have been doing, or we don't.
This is the time America and this is what makes us so different from any other country on God's green globe. We can hire and fire people. You don't like what your representatives have been doing with your money and the choices they have been making on your behalf...GET RID OF THEM! You hold the key and the power, so please make sure you take this very seriously and VOTE this November.
If you like socialism and you like big government, and you like to be told that you don't know how to spend your money and you want the government to take it all and spend it for you, than vote for those who follow and back President Obama's policies.
If you like to control your own money and your own destiny, you like the freedom to start your own business without being taxed so much that you can't grow or expand, you like the ability to choose your own doctor and not have the government tell you where and who you are going to see, and have to wait months before you can get in to see him, than by all means this is your time. Stand up and be counted.
Vote these people out! Let them know what it's like to be unemployed!
I think that this vote coming up in November is going to be a very pivotal one in the history.of our country. For our country to complete it's move toward socialism, the government needs more capital. It needs to have the controlling percentage over all of us. Then we have no choice but to bow down to it's socialistic ways because they will hold all the controlling factors. The money! Obama's policies are aimed for that end.
Obama, (who is the only president with a Muslim name), continues to lead this country down the road to financial collapse, and right into the arms of our waiting enemies. They don't have to fight us, because our president is going to walk us right into their arms. I could go on, but there is not enough space for me to write everything in this hub.
My point is this,... we as free people, free Americans still hold the power that our fore fathers saw and gave to us in the Constitution of the United States. A government for the people and by the people, but people...you need to step forward NOW! This might be your last chance. Move before this freedom and right to vote is also taken away.
