Internet Home Business :: 7 Ways To Choose The Right One For You

Comments (20)

How do i choose the best home business among the internet business opportunities jungle ?

There are litterally millions of them on the internet. Where do i start ? And how do i know if this or this home business is the right one for me ?

There are so many home business opportunities out there that it's hard to know where to start. And how do you know you have chosen the best one? It can all get pretty frustrating.

First do some research. How long are they in business ? Do they have a good products to sales ? Do they pay good commission ? Do they deliver the check ? (I remember one home business where i have never seen a check !)

So here is 7 ways to choose your own home business

Do you have to pay to join an affiliate program for example ? How much those it cost ? Are you willing to pay $1000 a month or between $30 to $100 a month ? Are you willing to advertise between $50 to $5000 a month to bring people etc.

Most people don't want to pay a lot of money before starting up a home business. So in my experience you should choose a home business that cost $30 to $75 a month.(It should be FREE to join). The cost should be for buying product to try yourself and advertising.

Does your home business offer you a free website or free gateways ? If not! Are you able to make or run a website. Or to pay to make one. (It can cost between $100 to $5000 to have one made by an expert.)3.) FREE TRAINING OR FOLLOW UP

What kind of support and training does the Internet company offer? What kind of support and training do you want when you start up your home business? Do you want ongoing training ? Or just a Smart Start Training ?

Does the company offer exclusive product like vitamin or special information ? Is it easy to sale ? Is it a quality product ? Does it have a money back guaranteed ? Are they to pricey to buy ?

Does the company offer a good commission like between 40% to 80% per sales ? Does it offer residual income ? (a residual income; is an income you get month after month on the same product you sell to the clients as long as he keeps buying it).

Does it offer great rewards like after 4 sales you get a bonus ? Are there clear goals that you can achieve? Is it hard to achieve does goals ?

Does your home business offer you leads that you can buy to build your business ? Are those leads old or new leads ? Are they double opt-in or even triple opt-in quality leads ? Are they really good leads ?

Like a hit counter with live stat.

A powerline genealogy where you can see the name and address of your affiliate

A sales report (SVP, Commission etc.)

Marketing aids (text ads, flyer, banner ads, wearables etc.)

Contact manager (where you can contact all your affiliate )

Key Code Tracking (for tracking your marketing effort)

Help Desk (FAQ's, Retrieve Password, Support, Email checklist etc.)

This is a short summary of what to look for for a home business. You can find all this in my home business opportunities. After joining and testing thousand of home business this is probably one of the best you will ever try.

You can join for FREE 7/FREE

How is affiliate marketing? Is it another smoke screen to sell useless guides to desperate people? I am desperate to find a way to start my own home based business, and affiliate marketing seems good because there is virtually no startup cost (I'm broke). Is this something likely to bring in a real income?

Admin 06.05.2008. 22:03

I don't know anyone who is affiliated in affiliated marketing. So I can't really answer that. but I do know, that you wouldn't be owning your own business unless you invest money into it. By means of a start up cost, or buying products yourself and re selling them, advertisement or something along those lines. Owning a business is not free. I wrote some things down that might help you to see for yourself if this is a good business to get involved in, using my business as an example. If on the list it checks out (you may have to do some research) but if it all checks out, then you can chose to do it. IF it's a business, don't just try it. You need to devote time and effort into it and build it. If your going to just try a business, you will most likely fail! So here's a few things that you should take a look at before getting involved in any company.
1. How long have they been in business? We checked to see how long our company was around, at the time it was nine years old and now it's 15. Do you know when they started? If it's under 5 years, then their is a risk factor
2. Are they registered with the BBB. Ours is registered. I think this is important one.
3. Who's involved with the company? Like in ours Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki has endorsed our company. Many actors and actresses, business owners, government officials etc use our products. Check to see if anyone has endorsed this company. Also, meet with the co-founders. We've personally met our co-founders and found from our first meeting that they were incredible people with incredible visions. See if their's a time where you can meet them. If your going to be doing business, there should be a time where you should have the chance to meet with them.
4. What is the compensation plan now, and what was it like before.
See the history of the comp plan and see if increases and never decreases in it's history. We checked with the records in our business and found that in over the years, the compensation plan had only gotten better each year. As long as we've been involved, we've now witnessed the compensation plan always increasing. Check the history on yours.
5.Have they been featured in magazine's? For instance our company has been featured in several magazines Like Success, Fortune, USA Today etc. Check to see if they have. You can get a lot of information on the company by reading about them.
6. Has Inc 500 rated them? This magazine or slit rated our company the 22nd fastest growing company in revenue in it's first 5 years. Inc 500 shows the top 500 businesses in revenue growth. Check to see what Inc 500 rated the company your looking at.
7. Do they have a physical address that you can go to? Check for an address not just a P.O. Box
8. Where are their headquarters? Our world headquarters is in Farmington Hills Michigan, Personally been there, (If your here in the states) Other headquarters in different countries. and US headquarters in Charlotte.
9. What does the start up cost take care of? If there is no start up cost, what will you have to be dishing out and for what? In my business headquarters takes care of all the billing for my customers, Inventory, Customer services, Order Entry, Employees, workman's comp, Cross referencing, Licensing, Insurance, paperwork, accounts payables, accounts receivables etc.
10. What is the product and service you would be selling.
Is the product and service in high demand? For instance we offer services that people are already using every day and paying for anyway, but at a lower cost. Things like Local and Long distance telephone services, Internet, video phones, digital phones, cellular phones through all the major cellular providers. We make a percentage every single month they pay their bills. Everyone uses them and everyone pays for them. When money gets tight, would they keep your service or be able to run to the store and be able to purchase them on sale? Leaving you to have to wait until they run out of what they just purchased, or wait until their finances get settled? This is what I mean by high demand.
So many different things to check out in making sure a business is a good one to get involved in. If the business feels right to you, and all questions are answered and you feel good about it, then I'd say jump in. Running a business is different then a job though. You have to treat it like it's your child and not just something your going to "try" you have to believe in the product and service and go at it full force. This is your future your talking about, no one else's.
I hope my examples of what we looking into with our business helps you be able to find the same answers in the business your looking into. Forget about asking the common question and asking someone how much they make in their business to determine if you'd get involved in this or not. In a business, it doesn't matter what one business is making over another. It only matters what you do in "YOUR" business. I hate it when people ask me how much I make. Because they're not going to walk into and start up their business making what I make. I've been involved with my business for over six years. So yeah, I will make more. If you tell someone how much you make, then it's a psychological thing that they expect to make that amount in a week, and that is just not going to happen. Six years of building a business verses 1 day. So don't even ask. Look at the possibilities for YOURSELF.

Does anyone know of good home based businesses? I am looking for a good home based business that doesnt require me to get others signed up.. More like a data entry or what not that is not a scam .. any ideas.

Admin 07.08.2006. 17:33

The best home business will depend on what you want, how you define to be interesting. A person may consider a pet sitting business to be the most exciting work in the world, while another person would rather watch TV than take care of dogs.

The key is to determine what your interests are, what you want to do, what is suitable for your lifestyle and your overall goals, and what can fit with your resources.

Dan Ramsey in his book "101 Best Home Businesses" has a chapter on how to find YOUR best home business. He suggests these 10 steps:

1. List 5 things you do best
2. List how others would benefit from what you do best
3. Find out how to give people what they want
4. Learn the value of your services to others
5. Find out who else offers similar services
6. Learn from the successes of others
7. Learn from the failures of others
8. Plan your own success
9. Make low cost mistakes
10. Enjoy what you do and how you do it

He then made suggestions on the best home businesses according to type. Here are a few of them:

Best Businesses Using Craft or Physical Skills
- antique restoration
- auto detail service
- carpet cleaning business
- errand/delivery service
- housecleaning business

Best Service Businesses
- bed and breakfast operator
- caregiver
- catering service
- senior day care center
- tutoring service

Best Professional Businesses
- desktop publisher
- magazine writer
- import/export service
- income tax preparation service
- event planner

1 )Start with your idea. This probably isn't a brand new invention or product. In fact, many successful small businesses have found a way to deliver an existing service or product more efficiently and economically or have customized an existing product or service to fit an opportunity.
Ads by Google
2) Incorporate- 3 Easy Steps (1) Sign Up (2) Fill in online form (3) Launch your new corporation.
Put together a business plan. : This doesn't require hundreds of pages with thousands of charts. Include research into things like how much you can charge for your product/service, how much it will cost to produce or deliver (include variable & fixed costs), and the size of your potential market (i.e. number of customers). The plan should evaluate your competitors - how many competitors, how strong are they, where are they, how will you compete. The plan should state what is required to enter this market, barriers to entry such as high fixed costs (factories, restaurants) and government regulations that must be met.
3)Determine if you need financing. Your business plan will include a section on financing. How will you pay the costs to start and run your business? Do you need a bank loan? Use credit cards? Self finance? Also, you'll need to consider how much salary you need to support yourself while starting your business.
4) Put together your initial marketing plan. Marketing need not cost a fortune. Some businesses require very little. For example, many service businesses such as accounting firms build their practices through word-of-mouth referrals. You can also join free or low-cost associations to build awareness of your small business. Again, your business plan (product, customer, competitor) will help you determine the marketing efforts you need to undertake.
5) Build your infrastructure early. This doesn't mean build a big factory or a fancy office. It simply means keep accurate customer records, a clean set of updated books and a technology foundation, if necessary. One of the downfalls of many small businesses is that they don't know if they're making or losing money (i.e. the need for a clean set of books). Another downfall is when small business owners try to sell their company years later but lack accurate customer history and customer information. Many times, the customers of a small business are its best asset, and, without the records, the small business can be sold only for salvage.
6) Move forward and get started. Once you know you can be profitable take the leap and get started. Besides getting business supplies or advertising, plan ahead by establishing some new business clients ahead of time. If you're business is unlike a restaurant, that physically needs to wait for customers to walk into it's doors, establish accounts ahead of time. In this way, you will have pre-planned future receivables to look forward to. Think about and focus on making money first, where ever possible, instead of spending money. The more money you can bring in, without spending money, the more profitable you are going to be.
7) Use the web. Use every technology available that will give your business a competitive advantage. The internet is a customers research tool. Help future customers learn more about you and the details about what you sell and why your products or services are different and better for them than other competitors.
8) Make paying for your items or service convenient. In today's world, understand how people pay. Carrying cash can be risky. Therefore, most people choose to carry Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. All these credit cards are part of our societies everyday life for making purchases. Debit cards are becoming especially popular. So, along with having a sales counter cash register, get set up to accept credit cards for your business. If you have your website set up, you should also make paypal payments available because most consumers feel that this is more secure, and many will use paypal.
9) Purchase a new electronic credit card machine. These are now very affordable and available at wholesale prices for about $147. Be sure to look for a wholesale supplier, not a retail seller such as a bank. Banks usually charge higher prices or rent it to you, and you may pay for it many times over. The same credit machine supplier will more than likely be able to offer you credit machine service too. This monthly cost is about $10. By doing this you'll be able to get equipment for less then the price of most cell phones. More importantly, you can offer your customers an easy way to accept credit cards. The goal is to help customers self-finance their purchases when they don't or can't use cash

What are some good ways to deal with bottled up anger/sadness? I just want to know some good, non painful, ways to deal with all the anger and sadness I have bottled up inside. :/
Also, I'm Atheist. .-.

Admin 29.11.2011. 06:53

Hi Kara,
U are a smart girl to be reaching out to learn skills. I have a very long history of extreme sadness that turned into a extremely bad depression when I hit 36 and at almost 41, I am just beginning to "peak my head out of my black cloud". I did seek therapy for 5 years (mostly weekly) which didn't help as they were all MLSW (master degree level SOCIAL WORKERS), AKA- GENERIC "ear & a brain to pick w/ zero specialty and limited knowledge. What I needed were SPECIALIZED COUNSELORS w/ a degree in COUNSELING, not basic "social workers". Social workers are your people at the welfare offices, or basic public "ASSISTANCE" type jobs. Depending on the source of your pain, I could have many suggestions- but I need more specifics. As w/ myself (am an open book) w/ clear conscious and nothing to hide... I survived YEARS of major mental brain washing & abuse, w/ a childhood from age 6-12 of pretty insane physical & sexual abuse as well. I pretty much lost both of my parents by age 6 and that paved the way for a life of being lead by complete control & manipulation. I chose friends who were selfish & dysfunctional (never loving hearts as mine)- I got lucky and married a wonderful guy, to only not recognise how GOOD HE WAS (as I was so so damaged inside) & pushed him out the door two years later (so to speak...ran him off)! I was conned into moving to MI as i raised (partially) my 18 yr younger 1/2 baby brother and from Southern CA (my home). I always hated MI (mainly the mean & back stabbing people), but as I loved him so much, I thought I could handle protecting him in MI, for a few years... Thankfully he is back home and I am still STUCK IN MI near 9 years later. I have no friends or loved ones here, I have one cousin that I see now & then. I've spent EVERY HOLIDAY ALONE for the past 5 years! I hate what my life has become, I've never had children, I live for animals that I care for as I've hurried myself in animal rescue since 1990 & wildlife rehab here in MI- where people are so animal unfriendly. I honest to GOD feel as I'm the saddest person alive, I cry everyday , w/ no one to turn to. Antidepressants since 6/06 have failed to work as I need love & loving people- LOVE IS MY DRUG OR CURE, that I only get from animals. I am about to have some spells ran on me thru CA ASTROLOGY ASSOCIATES- they have been in business since I was born (1971) and have a 1 year $$$ back guarantee if the spells or trinkets don't work. After my divorce, five years later I met a guy whom I thought was the LOVE OF MY LIFE (thought I had healed my inner dysfunction)- gave him ALL I HAD, ALL OF ME & ANYTHING I HAD.. Only to wake up 7 mos later to him GONE, I allowed him to come back 7 times in the past 2 years, while he hurt, BETRAYED, cheated 3 times & nearly killed all of me, by leaving me time & time again... Smashed my soul & broke my heart more than words can describe. I've tried to get over him for 25 months now, only to cry STILL NEAR DAILY. That in a nut shell is my pain, I am lost more than I can describe in this State that I hate, I am heart & soul broken, I am friend & love-less, which I NEED SO BADLY, I should seek out a COUNSELOR (not social worker) to only take $$$ & leave me just as lost & sad & ANGRY! You can try screaming & crying in a pillow; I find groups on the Internet for different topics, you can try to talk to the predator that hurt you (the prey)?? You can write it all out, so they HAVE TO HEAR YOU- unless they refuse to read it. You can write it all out, to get it off of your chest (that helps), you can talk to me??? I have learned tools, though again, I'm unsure of the SOURCE OF YOUR PAIN. If you want to email me privately- and trust me w/ more details, I'm sure I can help w/ ideas or resources- if nothing else. Pls remove my email after you get it, its my first name *** THEGROOMER@ (this sites name = Y**OO) .com I've made it a long way thru much- it's just this being lost, broken hearted, all alone that I am fighting, but AM BEGINNING TO MAKE STEPS TO RECOVERY- starting to meet people on dating sites at least...? Although, for the FIRST. TIME IN 40 years, i now have trust problems, as this place is full of betrayers! Hope I can help ya Kara! If I can get myself back in school, I've always wanted to be a therapist... Even just social worker ;).... Hava good night- Amy

I am looking to work from home, does anyone know companies that are employing currently? My wife currently works and I am at home with the children but we need some extra income. Does anyone know of any companies that are looking for staff to work from home?

Admin 22.03.2009. 18:50

I know of a few GENUINE work from home positions/opportunities. These are NOT to be confused with business opportunities, rather, they are REAL work from home opportunities where in most cases you are EMPLOYED by the company but work from the comfort of your home.

Then again, there are companies which you would be known as what's called an Independent Contractor. One such company that has thousands of agents who work from the comfort of their homes is called ACD Direct.

With ACD Direct you would be a call center order taking agent working from home and your job would be to take phone orders (for catalogs, etc).

You are paid for each minute of talk time with some incentives. The more you work, the more you earn. And... you decide when to work in the comfort of your own home. Once you've proven yourself with them, you may also choose to pursue advancement within the company to further increase your earning.

You will find them at

Before you get started with their application process, however, here's what you NEED to know:

1.) Call center experience (preferably work at home) is a MUST.

2.) They require a high quality computer with high speed internet service.

3.) You must have a dedicated phone line without Privacy Plus, etc.

4.) Your work space must be a dedicated office with a door.

5.) They have ZERO tolerance for background noises DURING calls.

6.) Your status will be an independent contractor.

7.) You invoice us, we pay you and you are responsible for your tax obligation.

8.) You will be required to complete all initial training BEFORE taking calls.

9.) You are expected to complete ongoing/recurrent training.

10.) You must remain up to date on all resources that relate to your call types

Hey, that's just ONE legitimate available work from option, as I stated, I know of a FEW others as well.

Heck, you can apply to become a certified online tutor (if teaching students is your thing) at

Or maybe you would like to partake in GENUINE surveys (yeah, believe me I know about the MANY scams there are out there, however, I am referring you to LEGITIMATE work from home offers).

Participating in these surveys will provide you the opportunity to make some extra money from home - it's EASY, 100% FREE TO JOIN, great FUN and a good way to make some cash online for your opinion!

"Get paid cash" online survey companies have been around on the Internet for a long time, but very few have paid people for their valuable time properly. The paid survey offers I am referring you to are reputable companies and some of the best around - you can begin to earn cash today!

They even have paid surveys to take that are available to people worldwide! All the companies are FREE to join. Any company that tries to charge you money to take surveys or online opinion polls on the promise that you will get paid cash or other rewards should be approached with caution as 99.99% of the time they are SCAMS.

You can find a whole slew of legitimate surveys by going to

Perhaps you would like to think about becoming a "Virtual Assistant". Hmmm, there's a thought, anywho, there is a company called VOT (Virtual Office Temps) where they have positions for anyone with the following skills and or experience:

1.) Word Processing and Data Entry/Clerical

2.) Bookkeeping, Payroll and Accounting

3.) Medical Billing & Coding, Transcription and Typing

4.) Legal & Medical Assisting

5.) General Office Work, Office Administration

6.) Customer Support, Sales and Account Management

7.) Internet Research, Web Administration and Management

8.) Website Management, Design and Desktop Publishing

Many other areas of expertise are needed!

VOT is a staffing and recruiting firm. Projects come to them from EMPLOYERS in need, VOT then sends virtual assistants (what YOU would be) to them to complete those projects. They have been in operation since 2001 and are one of the first virtual assistant staffing organizations online! They've built a fine reputation and their virtual assistants have completed thousands of projects.

They do NOT charge fees. They do NOT have an application fee, they do NOT require a membership deposit. You do NOT need to pay an activation fee, handling fee or training fee. ANYONE may apply and be HIRED if you have the equipment, skills, education and experience to work as a professional virtual assistant. And just in case you missed it, there are no fees (lol), zero, zilch, nada. So, please do not confuse VOT with a fee based job service as this is REAL WORK for REAL PAY.

Their virtual assistants work from home regardless of their location. To qualify, you MUST have certain programs and equipment. Most you probably already have, or can get for FREE. ALL of their Virtual Assistants

What are the ways for a 17 year old to make money online? I'm a guy from India and most of the sites I've come across require you to be at least 18. One site I was able to join was Triond as I like writing but they don't seem to pay at all!
I would like to know about some legit ways. All ideas are accepted as long as it's not about a scam website. Thanks :)

Admin 28.06.2013. 18:48

As long as you have the inclination, a little bit of expertise and some free time, you can earn some money on the Internet from the comfort of your own home. Some popular ways to make that quick extra buck:-

1. Self publish books

If you love writing and want to get a book published, Amazon offers a free service called Kindle Direct Publishing. The service allows anyone to self publish books on the Kindle (electronic) bookstore and earn royalties from sales. There are two plans you can choose from ? the 35% royalty works across any book sold in any country) while the 70% royalty plans works if you sell in a few select countries. Indian authors can choose to set prices specifically for the Indian bookstore and receive royalty payments in Indian currency as well.

2. Make & sell your apps

With so many smartphones and tablets, app development can be a very lucrative business. You can learn about developing apps online ? there are various tutorials available for free. That's the easy part ? the hard part is coming up with an idea that 'clicks'. Once you make an app, submit it to the respective app store, set a price and choose whether you want to earn from inapp advertising. Your earnings, after deducting the appropriate fees, will be paid monthly.

3. Sell your photos Online

Numerous stock websites like www.shutterstock. com, and www. host photographs submitted by members. Depending on the site's policy, you can earn between a 15 to 85% royalty on each sale. The better the quality of photos and the larger your online portfolio, the more you will sell. Usually, each photograph you want to upload will have to be 'selected' by them first ? and they usually have strict requirements of what can or cannot go on sale.

4. Sell old stuff online

An easy way to earn some money on the Internet is by selling old stuff that you have around the house. Websites like, & provide a free classifieds platform. You need to create an account, enter the product details, location, the expected price along with some photographs ? listing usually go live within a couple of hours. Interested buyers can directly contact you and finalise the sale.

5. Start an online shop

With some creativity, you can learn to make handicrafts or if you know a wholesale dealer, purchase unique things at low prices. Once you have some stock ready, you can set up an online shop to sell these goods on sites like or

Both sites have a simple signup process. After you get verified as a seller, they provide you with a step-by-step wizard to set your online store (how to add photos & details of items you want to sell).

6. Work online for money

The internet is full of bogus companies that promise to pay you for work but never will. For instance, all places that offer money to fill surveys or those that require payment up front are scammers. Two popular & reliable places to find work are www. and

Both have a similar system: set up a profile and take tests to prove your proficiency in certain areas. Once done, you'll be listed as a contractor/freelancer and people can hire you for an hourly rate. You can get paid more by working hard, getting better at what you do and getting good feedback (ratings) from your clients.

7. E-Tutoring

If you are fluent in any subject and have some tutoring experience, you can sign up on websites like or as an online tutor. The sites require you to create a tutor profile with details such as the subjects in which you are fluent, what classes/courses you want to teach, your experience level, preferred timings for tutions and the remuneration expected.

Is there any honest way to earn on the internet? I have seen many sites which claim to pay a good amount of money but they don't work. Is there any home based oppertunity to earn an average money in regular way and which really works? It should not be any network or chain system business.

Admin 16.03.2006. 18:08

1. You can sell products and run an ecommerce website like Newegg or Amazon

3. You can create members-only website and earn money throough monthly or yearly subscriptions such as most adult websites or

4. You can sell information products such as downloadable ebooks or CDRoms

5. You can bring buyers and sellers in your portal such as eBay

6. Sell services such as search engine optimization, graphics design, web design, online incorporation, domain broker, etc.

One article that I found very useful is "7 Steps to Successful Web Site Development" as it takes to you all the decision steps that you need to take when starting an online business. Like any other business, startup period is full of "should I do this" or "should I do that" questions. The article is useful because it helps you think through every step of the way - from why do you want a website to who is your audience to how will you create your website to how you will market your new website.

Here are the steps you need to take when creating your online business:

STEP 1: Set Your Goals - Why do you want a web site? What is the size of the online market? What are the goals for your website?

STEP 2: Develop Your Web Site Strategy - Who is your website target audience? What typically appeals to your target audience? How are the other websites (your competition) reaching out to this target audience? How will you measure your performance?

STEP 3: Set-Up Implementation Plans - What name will you give to your site? How do you envision the design of your web site? How will you create your website? How will you create your content? How will you maintain your website?

STEP 4: Start the Ball Rolling - Do you have a logo? For e-retailers, do you have the critical components needed to run an e-commerce site? How are you going to host your site?

Have you heard of an internet business?
Personally, I find that an internet business is an easy way to create an autopilot income because:
1. Requires small to zero capital
2. Gets started right away and easily
3. Allows you to work from home or anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection
4. Has unlimited potential to earn money
5. No age or education requirements
6. Doesn't need you to have to have a company
7. Align with your interest in computer

What you need to do is to learn about the internet business as much as possible to discover whether it is for you and what your strategy is. There is free information around. Good luck.

I am sure you have an idea or product or service in your mind. According to the marketing genius, Seth Godin, everybody is an expert in some field. I have successfully started my online business on Squidoo. It is the best place for anybody to show his talent or to sell anything plus it gets good traffic if one follows the instructions and advice.

Read what Seth has to say:
" People are looking for you.

It's easy.No IT department. No programming. No credit cards.

It's all about the community.

You can generate income and traffic

You can raise money for charity

You can sell stuff

You can sell stuff from eBay too

The Best Reason of All :

Your lens can show people the way
You can use your lens to share your expertise and light a path for people looking for something online.
You can highlight the best websites
You can teach people about a concept
You can do a poll to gauge what people think
You can highlight an eBay auction
You can point people to political action opportunities
You can establish your identity
You can make a difference "

All it takes to make a Squidoo Lens (i.e., website) is hardly 5 minutes!

You can consider one of these topics:

- Buying
- Insurance
- Loans
- Repair
- Audio Systems
- Car Rims
- Internet Dating
- Dating Advice
- Attraction
- Seduction
- Breeding
- Grooming
- Ownership
- Student Loans
- Grants
- Home Mortgage/Loans
- Gaming
- Poker/Texas Hold'Em Home
Home Business Ideas
Interior Design
- Alternative Medicine
- Homeopathic Medicine Travel
Las Vegas
- Family Vacations
- Hotels Video Games
- Dresses
- Planning
- Invitations

It normally takes 2 to 3 months to start getting a decent traffic to your lens. You get paid monthly depending upon the performance of your lens. There is no limit to the number of lenses you publish.

The following tips deserve attention:

1. Choose your lens name carefully. Try Google's Keyword Tool for help since there should be good traffic for your chosen niche. Check with Word Tracker too for traffic count.

2. Use tag cloud generator to find appropriate tags or keyphrases.

3. Estimate Keyword Difficulty with SEO Tools.

4. Get keyword / keyphrase synonyms using Google & Yahoo Suggestions. Check their traffic with Word Tracker.

5. Build your lens using good title - 5 to 7 words starting with the niche keyword / keyphrase.

6. Write a good intro starting with niche keyword / keyphrase in bold and other major / minor keywords / keyphrases.

7. Split the content into different sub-topics.

8. Use relevant ads from eBay, Amazon etc. (which are available as modules in any lens).

9. Use Plexo links using relevant quality content.

10. Start a blog on the same topic on Blogger, Word Press etc. and regularly update them with link to your lens.

11. Use promotional tools like Flickr and some social bookmarking / networking sites.

12. Use OnlyWire to ping your blog.

13. Write articles on the same topic and publish in ezines like EzineArticles, GoArticles etc.

14. Not but not the least join relevant forums and keep inter-acting without spamming.

I think this should solve your difficulty.

How to start a small business? I am more and more frustrating with unrewarding salary paid jobs and I wanna try out something else.. But obviously i am not sure where to start. Could anyone with experience help me guide?
First of all how to choose a business?
How to get the financial support?
How to eliminate as much risk as possible?

Starting a small business takes a lot of courage. But, as they say, courage does not pay the bills. To be successful ? to stay in business ? you need more than courage. You need a combination of hard work, skill, perseverance, and lots of luck.

Some things you need to consider:
- "How can I support my family while I build up by business?"
- "What are my abilities?"
- "Is there a market for the product or service I have chosen?"
- "How long will it take this business to reach the financial goal I have?"

In terms of choosing the business, the best business will depend on what you want, how you define to be interesting. A person may consider a pet sitting business to be the most exciting work in the world, while another person would rather watch TV than take care of dogs.

The key is to determine what your interests are, what you want to do, what is suitable for your lifestyle and your overall goals, and what can fit with your resources.

Dan Ramsey in his book "101 Best Home Businesses" has a chapter on how to find YOUR best home business. He suggests these 10 steps:

1. List 5 things you do best
2. List how others would benefit from what you do best
3. Find out how to give people what they want
4. Learn the value of your services to others
5. Find out who else offers similar services
6. Learn from the successes of others
7. Learn from the failures of others
8. Plan your own success
9. Make low cost mistakes
10. Enjoy what you do and how you do it

He then made suggestions on the best home businesses according to type. Here are a few of them:

Best Businesses Using Craft or Physical Skills
- antique restoration
- auto detail service
- carpet cleaning business
- errand/delivery service
- housecleaning business

Best Service Businesses
- bed and breakfast operator
- caregiver
- catering service
- senior day care center
- tutoring service

Best Professional Businesses

It may help you if you could talk with a small business expert or free mentors to give you ideas on how to make your dream of starting a business come true even without money. Here are some places where you can find a mentor:

- Government Mentoring Programs such as SBDCs, which works with community colleges and local business development councils to offer mentoring programs ; or the Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training
- Volunteer programs such as SCORE which is composed of mostly retired executives and entrepreneurs
- Formal mentoring programs such as Athena Foundation , Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program , or The Aspen Institute MicroMentor Program
- Professional organizations such as the National Women?s Business Council
- Industry and trade associations
- Local business groups, such as the chamber of commerce
- Local chapters of business groups
