Is it by luck or coincidence you are reading this article?

Neither, it is an opportunity that presented you with a choice. Your choice is to read it and make a descision about the content or to flip to another article or web site.

If you decide to continue reading I am sure you will benefit from the content.

Read the following paragraph and determine if it is good luck, coincidence or a series of opportunities.

A young student gets good grades through public school and high school, then goes to university where they study hard and do all their homework, getting even better grades which leads to a good paying job. As time goes on they have banked enough money to start their own business which turns out to be a great success story.

Is this coincidence, is it luck, or could it possibly be that each opportunity that presented itself was acted upon which led to the next opportunity?

You are still reading so I will take that as an indicator that you are curious enough to continue, so think about this for a moment.

Opportunities require you to make choices or to take action. You have to choose to do something or choose to do nothing. Either way you are setting the path that will affect everything from this point forward.

How did you come across this article?

Was it because you were looking to increase your awareness, or because you were pointed to this by someone else? Either way you still made the choice to read this far.

What you do with this material is another choice. You can learn from it or you can discard it. Again you are making a choice, taking action that can effect the rest of your life.

Do you believe that your life is a series of good luck, bad luck and coincidence?

If you answered YES to that question then you should take a few minutes and figure out what makes you lucky or unlucky. You will find it usually comes down to the choices you make.

I would like to give you an example that may help to bring this point home. Just so that I am not pointing fingers let me use myself as an example, just so you know where I am coming from.

I saw buying lottery tickets as an opportunity to become rich. All I had to do was have a change of luck. After all I was due for a change of luck, my life sucked for the most part. So...

...I started buying lottery tickets. One at the beginning at the cost of $3.00. I won a free ticket or $10.00 here and there but nothing big. Well I knew I would have better odds if I bought more so I started buy $10.00 at a time. Wow my luck changed, now I was winning abut double what I was winning with only one ticket. But hold on a minute my winnings still did not add up to the amount I was spending.

I would of course buy tickets for the bigger lotteries in the hope that my luck would turn and all would be fine. That didnt work either. Then I caught a "lucky" break.

I was presented with an opportunity to go on a fishing trip with a few friends. They would do the driving but I had to pay my own way. How was I going to do that if I spent all my spare cash on tickets?

What I did was stop buying tickets and put that money toward my fishing trip. I had 8 months to come up with the money or I knew there were a few others that would be going without me.

When the time came to pay for my trip I not only had the money for the trip but I also had enough to buy a brand new fishing rod, some new line and lures plus a carrying case for my rods.

I was starting to clue in. Life was filled with opportunities and all I had to due was make choices. I have not purchased a lottery ticket since. Instead I now purchase things that allow me to enjoy my time on this earth.

I sure was "lucky" that fishing trip came along. It was the choice that changed my entire life from that moment on.

Luck does not enter into the equation of life. Opportunities are the ticket to your success or failure. Is this opportunity going to make my life better or is it going to put me farther behind in my journey.

The more opportunities you are presented with the better success you can have by making one choice at a time. The choice to succeed.

- Taking action forces you to go in one direction.

- Take no action, and you are still changing your direction because you made a conscious choice not to take action.

My personal belief is that we are all here for a purpose, what that purpose is has nothing to do with luck but instead it has everything to do with choices.

STOP & GO - Start Thinking Of Possibilities & Great Opportunities.

You may believe that the things that happen to you each day have a lot to do with luck or coincidence. Well you are in luck today, because I am here to tell you that this is not the case.

You may avoid going under that ladder because it is bad luck only to get run over because you stepped out onto the street.

Breaking that mirror will give you seven years of bad luck. If you believe it youre right and you will avoid opportunities that will set you back about seven years.

You are where you are because you have made choices and you receive opportunities in life based on those choices.

Each event in your life, big or small, is an opportunity to make a choice. The choice you make will put you on a slightly different path. Each opportunity has the ability to direct the path your life is on for better or worse.

The more you study and become aware of the things around you the better you will be at making those choice which will lead you to success.

Every action has a reaction and that reaction is the direction your life takes, regardless of how small the reaction there is still a reaction.

If you buy a lottery ticket instead of banking the money you have made a choice that effects your future. Your odds are a billion to one but who knows.

If you decide to stay in bed a little later you could be making a choice that could effect the rest of your life.

Another Example:

You have been looking for ways to make your business do better. Then a friend tells you about a successful business person that was holding a one day seminar next week.

What a coincidence that this opportunity presented itself just when you were looking for ways to improve your business, right?

Not at all, you set things in motion just by having the desire to have a better business. Most likely you were looking for something to happen that would help you with your business.

The morning of the seminar you find you are running late because you hit the snooze button once to often. So you just made another choice, to stay in bed too long. This choice could impact your entire future.

This choice has now put in into rush mode. You quickly shower and brush your teeth, then out the door you go in a mad panic and probably stressed.

When you get to the location of the seminar you cant find a parking spot and now you are really late and even more stressed. When you finally arrive you are 20 minutes late and you have to sit in the very back where it is hard to see and even harder to hear.

You find it difficult to follow the flow of the seminar because you missed the first 20 minutes.

You end up leaving the seminar disappointed that it wasnt a good as you were told it would be. It is amazing what "bad luck" you have!

- Did you blame "bad luck" when you couldnt find a parking spot and had to park so far away that it made you even later?

- Did you blame "bad luck" when you had to sit in the back instead of up close where that action is.

The choices you made determined the end results. What started out as a great opportunity turned out to be a waste of time because of the choices you made.

An opportunity requires you to make a choice, the choice you make will be to do something or to do nothing. Each of the choices you make puts your business on a slightly different path. This path can lead your business to greater success or perhaps a slow death.
