The National Association of Realtors reports that the Las Vegas region showed the highest rate of price increase ever measured by the NAR in any metropolitan region!
The median existing-home price in Vegas is now at $283,200 a 53.7% Jump from the same quarter last year.
Nationally, the median price in the third quarter this year moved up 7.7 percent to $188,500 from $175,000 in the same quarter last year... according to the NAR Report.
Home values grew by double-digits in 45 of the 127 regions surveyed, with 11 regions posting slight declines. The NAR projects the median existing-home price to rise 5.3 percent in 2005.
Where will you find the lowest priced homes? Visit the Buffalo-Niagara Falls, N.Y. region, where the median home price is $94,200. El Paso, Texas, also has below averages with thbe median at $95,100.
