Lia Beamer A New Hero Emerges

Lisa Beamer: A New Hero Emerges

She took to the skies to make a statement against fear, against
terrorism, and as an expression of her personal faith in God. She
met with Todd's associates in the hope of raising funds for the
Todd M. Beamer Foundation, dedicated to assisting the 22 children
who lost parents aboard Flight 93. Her hope is that those child-
ren will grow up into the kind of people who "can make courageous and
and moral decisions."

And so recently a new hero has emerged- as Lisa Beamer retraced
her late husband's steps- boarding the same Newark to San Fran-
cisco flight that Todd Beamer took that terrible day in September
2001. She completed the flight he began, meeting with associates,
that Todd was on his way to visit.

With a daughter, Morgan Kay, born in January Lisa Beamer is now
the surviving mom of three, as Morgan joins brothers, David and
Drew. Lisa reports that little Morgan has Todd's hair color, chin
and eyes.

Lisa was named 'one of the world's most intruiging persons of the
year 2001 by People magazine. On January 18, 2002, Lisa announced
that Tyndale House publishers will publish her story of the ill
fated flight 93, to give people a behind the scenes look at her
late husband Todd Beamer.

She has started the Todd Beamer Memorial fund, which will aid victims
of the disaster as well as Todd's favorite charities. Contributions
