The HTC Desire Z Is Packed With Appealing Features



The along with the Desire HD, the new HTC Desire Z is soon to be released. Building on the success of the original Desire, this handset sees the addition of a QWERTY keyboard to what is already a comprehensive specification list.

Leaked specs on the internet suggest that the HTC Desire Z will boast many similar features to its predecessor. These include a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 2.1 (however this will be upgradeable to v2.2 at a later date) a 3.7 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen and of course a slide out full QWERTY keyboard.

As with the original version, the highly customisable HTC Sense UI will also feature, along with a powerful 8 megapixel camera with the ability to record 720p HD video footage. Access to the internet looks set to be provided in the form of both HSDPA as well as a faster Wi-Fi connection taking advantage of local wireless networks.

The HTC Desire Z features a full QWERTY keyboard, as mentioned, and this offers a large chunk of the appeal of the phone. HTC has recently released a number of touchscreen orientated models, ranging from the Google Nexus One, Legend, HD Mini and Wildfire.
