The new Microsoft Windows Phone 7 operating system has seen the launch of a number of new handsets to showcase its new software. Amongst these is the impressive Samsung Omnia 7 with its 4 inch touchscreen, loads of internal storage and 5 mega pixel camera, to name but a few of its notable features.

Measuring up at 122.4x 64.2x 11 millimeters it is certainly slimline and lightweight at 138.2 g, making it a pocket friendly handset which is comfortable to hold and use on the move. Boasting a 4 inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, it is a great handset for a host of multimedia formats, such as watching HD video, playing games, surfing the web or simply viewing photos. This is thanks to its ability to display up to 16 million colours within a pixel resolution of 480x 800. Accelerometer and proximity sensors are included as well as multi-touch input support.

The Samsung Omnia 7 has the capacity to store thousands of files be they music, videos or documents etc, thanks to on board storage of either 8 GB or 16 GB depending on the model. There thanks to this level of storage there is no need for expandable memory such as a microSD slot, which is something you would find on most other Smartphones.
