Full marks to businessman Mirko Fischer who filed and won a claim against British Airways for sex discrimination. Last year Mr Fischer was on a BA flight waiting to depart from London when his pregnant wife wanted to swap seats so she could sit next to the window. Obliging her, the change of seats put him sitting next to an unaccompanied minor, however the airline staff said that was against company policy and the couple must return to their original seats or else the plane could not take off. Outraged, and feeling humiliated in front of the surrounding watching passengers, the unhappy Mr Fischer returned to his original seat for the flight which he claims was:
