Ovarian cyst pain generally occurs in post-menopausal women

When the case is severe, the doctor may even ask you take medicines containing narcotic elements. To get rid of the pain one should also avoid exercising and rigorous physical activities.

Ovarian cyst pain depends on the size and shape of the cyst and on their exact location also. There are times when you have ovarian cysts and you do not feel the pain but when the cysts grow pretty large you experience mild to acute pain in the abdomen, thighs and the entire pelvic region. So, the women after puberty and just before or after menopause generally have this condition of ovarian cysts which causes pain.
