Scrapbook Die Cutting Machines - Spellbinders Shows Magic With Their Presto Paper Punch

Spellbinders Paper Arts is a fairly new emerging company that are causing much hype among crafters. After entering the scrapbooking market in 2003 with their Wizard Die Cutting Machine and the release of Nestabilities later on has put them on the radar. But the magic did not stop there. At the Craft & Hobby Association in January of 2010, Spellbinders introduced the first ever automatic punch and embossing system for scrapbooking called the "Presto Punch" offering the easiest and most convenient way to paper punch.

About Spellbinders Paper Arts

In the scrapbooking world Spellbinders would still be considered a relatively new company if we do comparisons with some of the pioneers like Sizzix, Provo Craft, and Making Memories, but moving fast. Owner Stacey Caron almost over a decade ago had a passion for paper crafting and looked for a universal die cutting system that could replace some of her existing craft tools, which to her surprise she ran into a dead end. Hence, with a bit of entrepreneurial spirit and a husband who knew engineering and manufacturing, the Wizard die-cutting and embossing tool was invented. The Wizard soon became one of the most popular die cutting machines on the market with its unique triple function of cutting, embossing, and stenciling. A few years later Stacey would release the famous Nestabilities, which would completely revolutionize the scrapbooking world and replace paper punches forever.

Presto Punch Automatic Punch and Embossing System

Then in January of 2010 Spellbinders would shock the scrapbooking nation once again. Each year at the Craft & Hobby Association Spellbinders releases new nesting dies, but this time around their BIG announcement was their brand new machine, Presto Punch. This is the first ever automatic punch and embossing system. It is great for the beginner that wants to get started or even the advanced scrapbooker that is looking for simplicity. With Presto Punch, consumers can cut and emboss effortlessly and store more than 30 punch designs in the space of just one standard punch. This is ideal for anyone that has arthritic pain and does NOT want to squeeze any longer. With the Automatic Paper Punch tool, it is one push of a button and you are die cutting instantly. The Presto Punch is due to arrive in May of 2010, but many websites already have it out for pre-order.

Although Spellbinders Paper Arts is still a relatively new emerging company and making a name for themselves, it probably won't take too long for paper crafters, scrapbookers, and card makers to catch on. As Spellbinders continues to have success with products like the Wizard, Nestabilities, and the new Presto Punch, they will eventually become one of the elite in the crafters market. With the brilliant mind and vision of Stacey Caron, don't be surprised if she comes out with something new every year. And if this is the case, then crafters have lots to look forward too.
