A way to get people into communication with you is to match their tone, do what they are doing, dont introduce something new and exciting and different and expect broad appeal because it will stand out primarily as something new and different that they dont feel totally comfortable with. Even in history, you will find that people who changed thier cultures were mainly combining things that were familiar and popular in a unique way... not introducing something completely new and different. Elvis Presley comes to mind. But we can talk about that another time. But even the derivation of the word art indicates a joining together in unique ways of something already there, in order to create something new

The important point here is be real to people, HELP them do what they are already trying to do and they will communicate back with you, sign up for your ezine, etc. - maybe even become a friend or business associate!

First thing that you have to do is to find out what people need and want. Its called surveying.

A survey can be of a massive number of people or just one. Dont assume that you already know because you cant possibly know. Until you actually ask them you wont know. And you will be surprised, when you ask them, to find that it might have been something that you never would have thought of.

Enjoy the adventure of allowing yourself to be surprised and enlightened rather than just going on your own conjecture. You will have fun and achieve greater success!

Once YOU become something familiar, you can introduce something a little more original. But you have to build that relationship first.
