Ocean\'s Twelve Takes the Heist Film to a New Level

“Ocean’s Twelve” reunites the stellar cast of the 2001 smash hit “Ocean’s Eleven”; George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle and Julia Roberts, with the addition of British star Catherine Zeta Jones. The movie is set for release in early December. Find out more at http://www.lifestyle-gd.com/

Not surprisingly for a sequel, the story of the film picks up where the first one left off. Daniel Ocean reunites his gang of thieves and grifters to pull off a series of daring heists in picturesque locations across Europe. This time the target is fine art; famous paintings, precious gems and a Faberge egg.

The plot is intensified as the gang are pursued by a revenge mad Terry Benedict, their victim from the first film, a rival thief, and an Europol agent hot on their case played by Zeta Jones.

“Ocean’s Eleven” was a remake of the Rat Pack film of 1960, which featured the hottest stars of its day, including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior. Stephen Soderbergh’s 2001 version was more of a loose reinterpretation than a faithful reconstruction, with a reworked plotline and several new characters not seen in the original. The script for “Ocean’s Twelve” was originally written as a vehicle for action director John Woo, but Warner Brothers executives asked the writer George Nolfi to rework it as a sequel to “Ocean’s Eleven”.

Anyone who enjoyed the witty dialogue, the delicious plot twists, the eye candy cast, the cool clothes and the cooler soundtrack of “Ocean’s Eleven” will have this on their list as a must-see.
