The 2011 Golden Globe Awards, Some Observations

Last evening the stars were shining on the red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards. The award show is touted as a flash into the nearing future, but not only forecasting the winners of the Academy Awards, but we also see the first glimpse of the fashionable fads of the next year.

With the fierce achievements of Black Swan and the praise of its Best Actress winning lead, Natalie Portman, it is no wonder that she and also her Supporting Actress Nominee, co-star Mila Kunis, have impacted the fashion world by their characters simple style. Hair styles have been worn well away from the face, up and far from the ears, maybe in a bun or a fashionable chignon. In this way, the ears are altogether exposed, which makes them the optimum place to flaunt a beautiful diamond stud. This look is very becoming to almost any frame and on account of this factor, the ballerina look dominated the red carpet. Most actresses decided to leave their necks bare and accessorize with a basic tennis bracelet or diamond ring, but on the occasions when they decided to put on something around their neck, it was delicate.

Future mommy to be, Natalie Portman, simply glowed in her Viktor and Rolf gown set off by a lacy collar style necklace. Diana Agron, who is recognized as the character Quinn on Fox's hit show 'Glee', exchanged her pompoms for a stunning nude colored outfit and adorned a beautiful lacy necklace by Cathy Waterman (very comparable to in style to the necklace seen in pics of her from that affair). The open and subtle style makes it possible for the wearers natural loveliness to shine through. Other actresses channeling their inner ballerina consist of 'Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco and 'Modern Family's Sarah Hyland.

Sophia Vargara graced the red carpet in a riotous Vera Wang dress and in most cases you wouldn't evaluate her gown to be amidst the best of the bunch. Having said that, with her fabulous body, just how could virtually anyone ignore her. As the impassioned Gloria, she shows us that real women have curves and her gigantic personality needs big earrings to go together with it. As a fan of the show, I have recognized that she is consistently donning these larger than life drop earrings, and her look has spiked out of your small screen and to the red carpet. She was wearing beautiful diamond drops. She was not even the only one, also sporting the bombshell look was Elizabeth Moss & Christina Hendrix (Mad Men) and Katey Sagal (Son's of Anarchy), the ever illustrious Catherine Zeta-Jones and a stunning, pregnant Jane Krakowski of 30 Rock.
