Baby Gender Selection Basics

THE BASICS OF BABY GENDER SELECTION

Let's face it:

Men and women have been trying to find out how to select the gender of their baby for centuries. Future parents are trying all kinds of methods and theories with a lot of hope but end up often with poor results and a lot of deception. This is simply because of their lack of knowledge about basic biology concepts. The Birth Planning Center is here to help you.

And if you only have boys OR girls in your house right now, you will even learn exactly why you have been unable to conceive and give birth to the opposite gender so far.

>>> Baby Gender Selection facts:

Generally, semen contains approximately 50% female and 50% male sperm cells. The sex of a child is determined by the specific sperm cell fertilizing the egg (ovum) at the time of conception.

Sperm carrying an X-chromosome result in a female and those carrying a Y-chromosome result in a male. In the upcoming newsletter issues, we'll provide you with very simple methods you can use to make your conception environment more attractive for one or the other type of sperm.

Men produce two types of sperm, the X (female) and the Y (male).

X-Chromosome (GIRL)

Slower

Bigger

Strong and more resilient in the tract

Y-Chromosome (BOY)

Faster

Smaller

Weak and less resilient in the tract

Sensitive to heat

Since the Y sperms are smaller and more delicate but faster than X sperms which are bigger, tougher and slower, the tips you'll receive are based on providing an environment which allows one or the other type of sperm to get to the egg (ovum) first.

>>> Other sperm related facts you should know...

This one will come as no surprise but let's use it as a simple reminder. A higher sperm count is favorable to overall fertility. This is common sense right? But did you know that a higher sperm count also favors a certain gender? It will favor the conception of a baby boy.

There are 2 things the father-to-be can do to increase his sperm count:

#1 Abstain from having an ejaculation for at least 4 to 5 days before trying to conceive.

#2 Taking zinc supplement tablets. Zinc has been shown to have a positive effect on sperm formation, sperm motility and testosterone metabolism.

Be extra careful with the zinc supplement dosage as it may cause serious side effects. Please consult your physician for the appropriate dose OK?

PRECAUTIONS:

Zinc supplements should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before taking zinc supplements, please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have low copper level in the blood. Also, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of any allergies.

Please note that even if today's tip was intended for couples wishing to conceive a baby boy, we also have a LOT of tips for you in the upcoming issues, no matter if you wish to conceive a Boy or a Girl!

>>> Warning abour Dr. Landrum Shettles theory:

Successfully choosing the sex of your baby has absolutely nothing to do with the well known "timing between ovulation and intercourse theory" by Dr. Shettles.

You wouldn't believe the insane amount of couples who have contacted the Birth Planning Center over the last 14 years and confirmed that they have tried that "timing" method and failed. Hopefully, you are not one of them.

Hopefully you have learned something new today about baby gender selection. If not, many more free articles will be posted about how to choose the sex of your baby, whether you want to have a boy or to have a girl.
