Unconditional love, what is it? How does it operate? Can a Christian operate in unconditional love?
To get the answer to these questions, I want us to really get a picture in our heart of Father God and His unconditional love for us. We see Father God and His unconditional love in this Bible scripture, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and so I have placed Him in this scripture for He is unconditional love. Read it and you will see what I mean.
Father God endures long and is patient and kind. He never is envious nor boils over with jealousy. He is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display Himself haughtily. 5 He is not conceited, arrogant and inflated with pride. He is not rude or unmannerly and does not act unbecomingly. He does not insist on His own rights or His own way even when we do things our way. He is not touchy or fretful or resentful. Because of Jesus taking the punishment for all of our sins past, present, and future; He takes no account of the evil done to Him, pays no attention to a suffered wrong. 6 He does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. 7 Father God
