Disengagement and Disenchantment in the Job Search

DISENGAGEMENT AND DISENCHANTMENT
IN THE JOB SEARCH

After a few rejections while
looking for work, it is easy to
become disenchanted, discouraged
and depressed.

Everyone gets these blues when
looking for work. What to do
about these negative emotions?

I don't think it is smart nor
effective to dismiss them, nor
prolong them.

So....It is ACTION that helps.

What kind of action? ANY ACTION
WILL WORK! Physical movement
works well in diminishing the
effects of too much concentration
on the self.

Besides physical action, fun
puts the job search into a frame-
work that relieves the tension
of being out of work.

Finally, re-working your job
search plans and finding
a community of peers will put
the process into a new pers-
pective.

Try these suggestions. AND,
JUST GET MOVING!
