John F Kennedy is an international airport situated in Queens Country, on long island in southwestern New York City.This airport is the busiest international airports which transfer passengers to the United States. In 1942 New York City began placing hydraulic fill over the marshy tidelands of Idlewild Golf Course in order to make an airport. Initially the plan was to make a 1000 acre airport, but when its construction was completed it reached to almost 5000 acres. Commercial flights started in July 1948.
