LAX Parking

LAX Parking

Whether flying toward stardom or the beach, LAX visitors will all need a parking space. With eight colossal terminals, LAX is the world’s fifth busiest passenger airport. Parking considerations are critical with such an enormous facility and so many travelers. Fortunately, LAX meets the challenge.

LAX access is gained by the main Interstates like the I-5, I-10, I-405, I-110, or I-105, as well as Routes 1, 2, 60 to the east and Route 90 to the north.

Short-term LAX Airport parking options include metered spaces, while long-term parking focuses on surface lots. If the Central Terminal parking area has no empty spaces, there is a metered LAX Airport parking area close by.

Short-term parking rates fluctuate at LAX, but expect a price range of $4 (or more) per hour with a daily maximum rate of $30 or more for 24 hours. Welcome to California!

Not to worry—discount LAX Airport parking exists in Lots B and C. Signage directing the driver to these lots is posted along the entrance to the LAX area. In these discounted lots, prices start at $1 per hour; the first two hours are free for LAX airport parking.

For the tardy traveler, expedited LAX airport parking services include valet parking; service attendants take care of the parking and paperwork—you simply run to the terminal.

Rental car pick-ups and returns are handled at on-airport parking areas. Signage along the LAX entry road clearly indicates directions to these lots.

And if none of these options seem viable, there are privately operated off-airport parking options that defy the few parking spaces amidst the outlying LAX neighborhoods. These lots offer competitive rates, convenience, locations and safety. They also offer a similar handicapped-enabled, 24-hour free shuttle bus services to and from the main terminals of LAX.

Every garage and surface lot has disabled parking facilities. This includes wider parking spaces and handicap-equipped, free shuttle buses featuring hydraulic lifts for convenient bus entry.

Cash, major credit cards, valid airport parking coupons (LAX recognized underwriters issue these—hotels, for example, may cover LAX airport parking costs) may be used as payment for LAX Airport parking fees.

LAX Airport parking services include heavy security monitoring on a 24-hour basis, preventing thefts, fires, or terrorism inside the grounds. For additional questions or requirements, call the LAX Airport parking information line at 310-646-8021.
