Coach Purses - High End Purses, Or Not?

One of the most sought after purses in the world are from the name brand of Coach. Coach purses are made from what began as a family-owned business in Manhattan in the early 1940s. Even at that time, their purses were owned and flaunted by the rich and famous. They also created other leather goods such as wallets and belts

Even today, a Coach brand of leather products is still a very expensive items purchase being made of some of the finest high quality leather found in purses today. But the name brand does not matter to the consumer that purchases the purse. It is the appearance of the purse which matters the most.

Coach purses are said to last more than 10 years because of the quality of the leather which obtains a patina over age, as well as brass and steel rivets that create this magnificent product. Regardless of what creates the coach purse, the fans of this purse are still strong even today. With many other brands available of comparable value and price, celebrities will still include the coach purse as part of their ensemble when going out on the town or on a long trip.

One of the concerns when purchasing a coach purse is the authenticity of the purse itself. An easy guideline to follow is that any purse that you purchase at a flea market or at a discount store, is more than likely not be authentic purse that you thought it would be. If you are truly concerned about having an authentic purse, sometimes only the authorized dealerships are the best places to go

One could say that the niche that coach purses fall into is the category of the affordable luxury. They have a recognized brand that is priced high enough to be appreciated, but low enough so even the middle-class can purchase and claim that they also own a coach purse.

Whether or not you have a purse from a thrift shop, or a coach purse from unauthorized dealer, what is important is the image that the purse creates for you with the outfit that you happen to be wearing at that time. Most people will not stop and examine the emblem or serial number on your purse. Your self image is what is important, not the purse that you purchase.
