Praying Power: Realising Your Inner Power in Prayers

Praying Power is energy and is a wonderful spiritual activity.

When praying effectively, you are engaged in deeper level prayers from within, the whole being is involved and this includes the mind, body and soul.

Absolute wholeheartedness in prayers is needed so that the mind is completely submerged into the Praying Power activity in faith.

In any dedication to the principles, and procedure of prayer, of its activities and enterprises, first place, must, of necessity, be given to faith.

It is the initial quality in the heart of anyone who believes in faith, to talk to the Unseen, the Spiritual. They must, out of sheer willingness stretch forth their hands of faith and they must believe in faith.

Praying power means faith in the thing desired and just as the faith and the asking is definite, so also will the answer be. The giving is not to be something other than the things prayed for, but the actual things sought and named.

In the Bible, Matthew 11:24 it says" Whatever you ask for in Prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." The granting is unlimited, both in quality and in quantity.

Faith and prayer select the subjects for petition, thereby determining what God is to do for that particular prayer. You see, the Lord holds Himself ready to supply exactly, and fully, all the demands of faith and prayer.

So, in driving effective Praying Power, we have to make the request clear and definite, with no ambiguities, which means it has to be specific and definite.

God will fill it, exactly in accordance with our faith and the clarity of that which you seek.

Think of it, if you were to be going somewhere and asked for the route to a destination, you must have a particular location in Mind, and if you were to say to the person you asked the destination "I think I am going somewhere but not sure, then you will not get a reply to any specific route.

They will simply say to you, "well, if don't know your destination, I am afraid I can't really help you". This same analogy applies in effective Praying Power.

Faith is not an abstract belief in the Word of God, nor a passive acceptance of facts. Faith is an operation of God, a Divine illumination, a holy powerful energy implanted by the Word of God and the Spirit in the human soul, a spiritual and divine principle which takes and makes it a thing of our own individuality.

Mckendree, a Master Prayer Warrior once said,

"In the ultimate issue, prayer is simply faith, claiming its natural yet marvellous prerogatives faith taking possession of its illimitable inheritance.

True godliness is just as true, steady, and persevering in the realm of faith as it is in the province of prayer. The fact is that when faith ceases to pray, it ceases to live."

Ok, here is a simple morning prayer for your practice:

"Lord I am thankful for this day

Help me to be grateful for who I am and what I have

O Lord, grant me health, peace of mind and a fruitful life

My God to you I pray, in the morning O Lord, you hear my voice

In the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation

You are my God I can trust, with you I can do

Hear this prayer in Jesus name... Amen".

Prayers can transform your life, lift up your soul and take you to a journey that will fulfil a life purpose of your dreams and aspirations.

All this can happen when faith is alive and active in your Praying Power.
